Hello readers! I feel like I have not “journaled” in a while.  Today I was able to meet with our National Sales Manager and discuss his recent trip to Barnes & Noble.  Once again, he received a very favorable response.  Seven titles were presented to the Romance buyer and all seven where purchased.  I never would have guessed that Romance titles where in high demand this year but according to our National Sales Manager, due to the hard economic times affecting most American’s, people are purchasing more Romance titles to escape from reality.  I mean don’t we all want to escape from reality every once and a while; with a great book you can do so. So I guess the lesson you can learn from this is to know your current demographic because it is always changing!
