AtlasBooks will be attending the 20th anniversary of the Great Lakes Independent Book Sellers Association tradeshow on October 3, 2009 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel.
GLBA is the second youngest of the 10 regional booksellers associations. It was formed in late 1989 as the Michigan Booksellers Association in response to censorship legislation in that state. It had its first trade show in 1990 and published its first holiday catalog in 1991. The association grew quickly. In 1991 it expanded to include the states of Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio as well as Michigan and changed its name to Great Lakes Booksellers Association (http://www.gliba.org).
Randall McKenzie, National Sales Manager of AtlasBooks, along with the GLIBA, “believes this is a great opportunity for AtlasBooks to support our local independent book stores and authors, as well as a great networking opportunity.”
Please stop by our booth to check out our two featured authors: Jason Barger author of Step Back from the Baggage Claim and Joe Vitale author of Backstage Pass.
We are very excited about this event and welcome this opportunity to talk to you about your publishing and distribution needs.
