Thanks Amanda and Atlasbooks for sharing this graphic. It comes from my Facebook 103: Marketing Your Business on Facebook, and it’s a natural for authors. Your readers want to connect with you, and you can give them a backstage VIP pass to you! If you could travel all over the world giving author talks, appearances, book signings, and fun events, why not do that on your Facebook page too, without all the hassles and expense of travel? I’d love to have a class of all Atlasbook authors who could promote each other with a blog tour! Let’s get creative!

Ola! Blog,
I just stumbled across this and, trying to do and think of things that don’t. I do twitter, Facebook, blogging etc… I know radios give shout outs. My friend told me to write into the radio stations email or send a letter asking them to shout out the company.
What would you put int he letter?
what department would i send it to so it would at least get read?
Any other ideas?
Catch you again soon!
You should include a hook, particularly something connected to a hot news topic. You may have to think outside the box to get that angle, but it will increase your chances of getting on a show. Remember, they are interested in a topic, not the fact that you have written a book.
Also, you might check out RTIR (Radio TV Interview Report). It is a magazine that producers read to get guests for their shows. If anything, it would support your efforts.
